

Kirk Wilson
Kirk Wilson is an aspiring storyboard artist from Wellsville Utah, where he first fell in love with animation and storytelling watching the animated classics from the golden days of animated features films, such as his favorite “Aladdin”. Since then he has spent the last 6 years studying at the Academy of Art University in the Animation and VFX department. During his studies he has been learning from his peers how to craft and tell good stories, while gaining a high understanding of layout and composition, editing and sequential drawing skills. He is excellent at working with teams, has great communication and presentation skills and works calmly and efficiently to tight deadlines. During his time at the University he has studied under a majority of professional Story Artists including John Korellis, Steve Lee, Gilbert Banducci, Billy Burger and Linda Bell. Beside his courses at the Academy, Kirk has been studying Storyboarding and Animation from online courses provided by veteran animator Aaron Blaise and Story Artist Lyndon Ruddy.
